(More customer reviews)Although these are called "appetizer" tongs, they are perfect for serving dinner.
Don't be misled by the photo of the tongs holding a cherry tomato -- they're compact, yet sturdy and large enough to pick up asparagus spears, slices of meat, etc. The large cooking tongs I used previously worked fine for serving, but they weren't especially attractive on the dining table.
A pair of these stainless steel, dishwasher-safe tongs at the price I paid on Amazon.com was an amazing bargain.
The Progressive "Appetizer" Tongs are not only FUNCTIONAL, but the "X" and "O" design is FUN!

They are the PERFECT size for appetizers, ice, petits fours, bonbons, chocolate truffles, olives, baby dill pickles, etc., I even used them for tossing shaved roast beef in a skillet for a cheese steak sandwich. The best things about these tongs...they are attractive & have short handles that make them perfect for appetizers in small dishes & plates, rather than the over-powering handles (of most tongs) that seem out of place. I would highly recommend these for anyone that entertains...be it small or large groups, or to anyone that just likes things to be...just so!!

I love peeler, I can cut a 10pd bag of potatoes in 12-20 mins!
We even tried cucumbers, and it works well with any fruit or veggie that is hard and has a skin. So now when my family wants homemade mashed potatoes or potatoe salad, they get it and I am not in the kitchen all day.
