It makes peeling citrus fruits (mainly oranges) a breeze! no more orange peel bits stuck under your fingernails, no more trying to scrape off thick peices of peel that are hopefuly stuck to the outside of the orange. It really is a simple and USEFUL gadget.

(More customer reviews)This citrus peeler makes peeling oranges, limes, lemons etc. much safer than using any knife. Notice I said safer and not quantifiably faster! There is still a bit of manual peeling required after using it, but I'm no longer worried about slicing my hands as they get slippery while cutting other fruit for my juicer. A must have tool for anyone who has taken up the healthy habit of juicing.
