I ORDERED THIS THROUGH AN AMAZON SITE AND GOT IT RIGHT AWAY WHICH WAS GOOD , BUT THE WAY IT IS MADE, IT IS HARD TO PUT FOOD IN IT AND CLOSE IT BECAUSE THE PIECES ON BOTH SIDES HAVE TO CONNECT . ALSO IF YOU DO NOT HAVE LARGE ENOUGH PIECES YOU CAN NOT CHOP IT, BECAUSE IT GOES UNDER THE CHOPPER . I WOULDN'T HAVE EXPECTED MUCH FROM THIS EXCEPT THAT THE ADVERTISMENTS MADE IT SEEM SO MUCH BETTER. ITS OK , BUT PROBABLY SOMETHING I WILL THROW IN THE CABINET AND NEVER LOOK AT AGAIN .

The Kuhn Rikon Twist and Chop container reduces veggies to a fine chop with a few, quick flicks of the wrists. The blades are double sharpened to cut in both directions, so not a single motion is wasted. The clear bowl allows for easy viewing of the contents so you can be sure of the size of your chopped pieces. Quick-working and compact, the Twist and Chop does away with onion tears; eyes stay dry and hands stay clean. It's dishwasher safe and comes with an extra bowl and lid included. This set comes with red lids, and a set with white lids is available separately.

What a fantastic little gizmo! Seriously, I have and use quite a few processors here at home, including two 11 cup Cuisinarts, one very large (commercial Robot Coupe), a smaller Kitchen Aid and they all operate fine. However, they take up a lot of space in my kitchen whether on the counter or in the cupboards. I bought this little guy for when I have just small amounts to chop and I don't know why but I was really amazed at what a great job it did doing smaller amounts. I should have known that Kuhn Rikon wouldn't send something to market that didn't work, I seriously love their kitchen gagets and have many of them here at home. When I got it home I took an onion to try it out and had great results. I was making short ribs and wanted the onion dice finely, I quartered a medium onion and put it in the bowl and gave the string 5 pulls and got just the perfect size onion pieces for my dish. It rinses out so much quicker than it takes to disassemble any of my food processors so it now stays out on my counter and gets used a lot. Will I get rid of my processors? No, but for small tasks you just can't beat this little gizmo, if I had to chop a whole bag of onions I might get tired doing it with this chopper and would use one of the bigger processors but for smaller tasks I don't think you can beat it.
